Principles of Animation - Arcs

In your own words, what do you think is the principle of animation identified?

  3. Slight adjustments based on where the body ends up at the end of the movement.

    A punch - the arc occurs at the body following the punch.

  4. The natural swing placed on a moving object to replicate humanlike/ natural ( un-mechanical like) movement. Eg. the movement of a yo-yo when it is being flung by a professional.

  5. Arcs-This the movement of characters/objects in a scene moving in a circular way. For example the character swing his/her hands front way and backways as he/she walks.

  6. Arcs are added to characters or objects to achieve a smooth realistic movement.
    For E.g a guy using a sword, you can add a arc to it to give it some flare.

  7. Arcs are used to make the movements look more human like and not mechanical like a robot with the uses of arcs, and circles. For example, a bird flying the wings have to follow a curve motion to show the bird is flying vrs making straight and looking like a robot movements
